Sandy:Did you hear about The People Next Door?

Mari: No what happend?

Sandy: Well, let me tell you!Brenda cought Stan-that`s her boyfriend-kissing another woman.

Mari:That terrible! She should have left him right away.

Sandy:She did!She ran out, got in the car,and drove away.

Mari: The poor woman! So, where did she go?

Sandy:She ended up at the hospital.She was...

Mari:Wait a minute.Why did she go to the hospital?

Sandy:She driving too fast and had an accident.Anyway...

  Mari:She shouldn`t have driven so fast.Was she hurt?

Sandy: She broke her arm.But listen,the importanting thing is that

 she fell in love with the doctor who fixed her arm.

Now,as soon as she feels a little better, they`re going to start dating.

Mari:Let me get this straight.Brenda caught Stan with another woman, got into a

  car  accident, and now she`s going out with her doctor?

Sandy: That`s right.

Mari: That unbelievable.It sounds like a soap opera.

Sandy: Mari.It`s a soap opera.It`s called The People Next Door.It`s on TV every day at noon.

Brenda caught Stan.

caught اینجا یعنی برندا مچ استن و گرفت اصطلاحی که ما

هم گاهی به کار میبریم و معادل رایج تر آن:

Nip in the bud!

مچ کسی را گرفتن می شود.

جمله ای که مکالمه با اون آغاز شده رو میتونین برای دادن یه خبر به کار ببرید:

Did you hear about sth...

آیا راجع به این شنیدی؟

یا به جاش بگیم:

I heard that...

Soap opera که در آخرای مکالمه اومده معمولا به برنامه ها و فیلمهای 90

قسمتی گفته میشه.

Let me get this straight/Clear-cut بذار روشنش کنم.

به این مثال توجه کنید:

The weather is nice,isn`t it

Isn`t it در مثال بالا یک Tag Question است.

گاهی اوقات برای بهتر کردن مکالمه و زیبایی بخشیدن به جمله میتونیم

از این روش استفاده کنیم که به 2 صورت به کار میره:

گاهی ما از گفتن حرفمون اطمینان داریم و فقط میخوایم یک yes یا Ok بگیریم

اونوقت این جمله رو به صورت خبری به کار میبریم نه سوالی یعنی:

The weather is nice,isn`t it.

ولی وقتی در موردش شک داریم و نظر طرف مقابل و میخوایم به صورت سوالی

به کار میبریم:

The weather is nice,isn`t it?

Tag Question ها نوعی fillers یا تکیه کلام به حساب می آیند و برای

پر کردن و زیبایی مکالمه میتونیم ازشون استفاده کنیم یا نوع دیگری

از تکیه کلامها مثل you know یا I see و...

قطعا یکی از پرکاربردترین مکالمه های زبان مکالمه ی تلفنیه که نمونه ای

از این نوع مکالمه به همراه اصطلاحاتی که زیاد اینجا استفاده میشه گذاشتم
